Frequently asked questions

Commissions, conflict-zone coverage, image licensing and private client galleries.

01

What kind of photography commissions do you take?

+

I work on editorial and documentary assignments (press, NGOs, institutions), corporate reportage, portraiture and personal projects. I have on-the-ground experience in the war in Ukraine (2022) and at the Finland/Russia border, plus long-form documentary work such as the COVID-19 pandemic at La Plana Hospital and its control centres.

02

Do you travel to conflict or high-risk areas?

+

Yes. I cover conflict zones and high-risk contexts with advance planning, local contacts, a fixer when needed and safety protocols. Every assignment is agreed in writing, including scope, duration, insurance and evacuation terms.

03

How much does it cost to hire a freelance photographer?

+

The quote depends on the type of assignment, shooting days, travel and the image usage licence. Send me the dates, location and intended use through the contact form and I will reply with a fixed proposal.

04

Which languages do you work in?

+

Spanish, Catalan, English, French and Italian. That means working directly with newsrooms, crews and local sources across most of Europe without intermediaries.

05

What camera gear do you use?

+

Hasselblad X2D II and Hasselblad 553 for medium format, Leica M for discreet reportage, and Fuji and Nikon bodies for fast field work. Gear is chosen to fit each assignment.

06

How do private client galleries work?

+

Each client gets private access to their own gallery, where they can review the edit, view images at full quality and download the final files. Private galleries are never public or indexable.

07

How does licensing and usage rights work?

+

Copyright stays with me and you receive a usage licence defined by medium, territory and duration. Exclusive or extended licences are available by prior agreement.

08

How long does delivery take?

+

For news coverage I can send a first edited selection the same day. For reportage and documentary projects, delivery is usually one to two weeks depending on the volume of material.

09

Do you produce exhibitions and prints?

+

Yes. The pandemic project was exhibited physically with an accompanying audiovisual teaser. I prepare exhibition prints, curated series and companion audiovisual material.

10

How can I get in touch?

+

Through the contact form on this site. I answer personally, usually within 24 hours; for urgent coverage, please say so in your message.
